Yes, more metals.

A new wizard class and new Soldier types, models made by Giorgio Bassani, Trolls and Giants from Mike Owen and evil Soldier variants from Mark Copplestone
Excellent!  8)

Okay. Where do I sign?  :o

Please tell us - how did you tempt the master out of more-or-less-retirement, Nick?

(Apart from the huuuuge sums of money, obviously? ;))

Being his chum for years, mutual trust and finally finding a project that sparked his enthusiasm. (You should see how many didn't). Plus the factor of our then regular designer walking out on us created a kind of 'rallying round' by the North Star pals, which is why Frostgrave's designer line up was (and is) Mark Copplestone, Mike Owen, Mark Sims, Nick Collier, Richard Kemp, Bob Naismith, Giorgio Bassani and one who must remain anonymous.

Fascinating. Thanks for the update, Nick.
Always good to know the latest from the Lead Belt.
You've certainly put together a stellar line-up. Quite a coup. :)

Well that is a nice lists of mates to have in an emergency. :D Worked out quite well for this project ... your guy leaving ... if it prompted you to pull together this little team .... don't feel the project has suffered for not having a totally unified look you might have achieved with one sculpyor. If anything it seems to have thrown the door open to using stuff from loads of different sculptors who might have done stuff that fits the setting .... not sure this would have been the case if everything was from one guy. other stuff could have 'stood out' a bit. Although for my money you could have stopped at the first three names on your list and we would have been all set. Having said that the pieces some of the others has done have been really nice (in some cases to my surprise as i have not been that bothered about some of their previous work ...sometimes just down to genre) ... it seems this little project seems to have inspired and brought the best out in a number of folks.

I am now really keen to know what was sculpted by anonymous guy?

The only name I would love to see on that list is Kev White from Hasslefree.

Actually Mr Anonymous isn't that well know  lol I shouldn't have mentioned them. ;D

I'd love to see some Mr Hasslefree figures strolling through Frostgrave too.

I am not that well versed in who is who in the miniature world, but I am pretty sure I have heard ALL of those names before somewhere, so that is a good thing. With so many sculptors, I feel they all did a grand job at keeping the game very unified, but with a very distinct flavour for each of the wizards. Tell them a job well done!

I can't wait to get my hands on the models. We will probably order next week. I am also extremely excited for all the future products. I think the stars really alligned well for this project. I really think this game will become the biggest skirmish game there is. It just feels that way. It will definitely be my definitive fantasy game for the next few years. Congrats to all of you!

I reckon you would've done better to have a second box set of adventurers/mercenaries, to be honest

Really!?

NO!!!  :D

Firmly behind the cultists, Nick. Thank God someone is producing innovative, quality plastics. If I wasn't already becoming a burgeoning Frostgrave devotee, I'd still be buying both box sets as they have cross-gaming appeal.

I'll take my tongue off your trouser seat now ;)

(credit where it's due, though).
