The one with the greatsword is not really working for me ... but the others are all spot on.

She need a big strong man to help her with that.

there was some concern the Statuesque heroic were too big, yet the standard were too small.

Aye, sorry about that. lol

Well, concerns dispensed with. These look fantastic! They do fit a lot better than I originally thought.

They work well for me.
You are right about the clothing thing, it really does make them work for either sex.
A good result all round.
Nice 'hair' too.

Top stuff Annie, they look perfect. I knew they would.

I think if you go for a more fur/ leather colour scheme, these are perfect Wildling women.

We always knew our Soldiers had possibilities beyond Frostgrave. Some of the plans discussed were:
Robin Hood & Outlaw arms and heads.
Civilian Arms and Heads
Monk Heads and Arms
Different Heads offering specific styles ie Mongol or Saxon, for Frostgrave.
Heads and Arms to offer more GoT specific figures, for Starks or Wildlings.
etc etc.

Well they turned out very well.
I thought the bodies might look a bit too chunky for women, even in the cold weather gear, but no, they work a treat.

I have to admit, I wasn't sure how well this would work, but your test figures put that concern to rest.  Your female adventurers all look quite good and I may pick up an extra box of soldiers and to some "gender conversions" too!

Thanks all, really glad they went down well! Even praise from King Cubs and Nick, woohoo!

Nick - Cheers! You are right, I went for a bit of that with the archer - I was looking at wildlings at first for reference but solid historical painting (SAGA) has put me off browns for a while, I learnt I am far more likely to enjoy and finish something at the moment if it is bright, so went for that :D A perfect kit for that, and also because of the gloved hands I reckon you could put goblin heads on as well, or even skulls.

I'll have them in my display cabinet at shows from now on if anyone wants to come and have a close up look, they are much better in person, the photos never seem to quite do justice.

Sorry flytime, my hobby time is so precious and rare, I'd never be able to replace them! Being self employed I always seem to be working, so I took a couple of days off to build and paint them. I'm going to take these to shows, so now when people are looking at the heads and furrowing, I can point them to these examples, and wahey! It appears to be working in an online sense, judging by the heads I sold yesterday, but I did buy trillions (a little less  ;) ) so all stocked up! I do intend to do another five but chances are I'll never get around to it! I would like to do more head swap replacements with the other brands I sell on other plastic kits, perhaps such as Perry with the Crooked Dice heads. it was a nice change to actually get to build and paint some of the things I surround myself with!

Tom - I will be at Crisis, on a mega stand next to Gripping Beast  :D I'll have "all the things" - Frostgrave, women, merch, dice bags, though not much SAGA as they are next door :D Should have some new exciting things too!
