D&D figure repaints
« on: August 18, 2015, 08:54:39 PM »
These figs actually came out of one of the three (not sure which) of the original D&D co-op board game boxes, so they had never been painted :) They are vinyl figures, and they're very soft... soft on crisp detail, and literally soft. The weird thing is that the sculptor put on sooo many little details on the armor and clothing and boots... too much detail I think. Much of it can't really be seen (like the rib cage wrapped around the front of the figure's left boot)... In any case, they turned out okay, and they will still be useful in my D&D games!

They were officially orcs, but I see them more as bugbears, since I'll be fielding them beside Lord of the Rings orcs, which are relatively small.

Thanks
n

Awesome, and I agree...I'd probably use them as bugbears.  Neat.

Nicely done, well painted regardless the soft details and material
