And here it is painted. Good thing about thirld world terrain is that you can be pretty sloppy when painting, and still create a realistic result.

As usual I try to make my terrain foldable to store as much space as possible.

One terrain feature you will find reaching to the sky over most villages in Africa is a radio tower on a hill. This one is made by a piece from a plastic crane-toy.

Thanks! I love painting/building Africa. All irregularities just fit right into the general feel of worn down, poor maintenance and muddy.
