I would agree that sidekick-level minis is a good yardstick for a basic Space marine, and that Leaders would be good for either a really buff Marine (leader or hero or such), Terminator, or especially skilled Inquisitor.

The issue with the Pulp Leagues PDF download appears to be completely sorted. I apologize to the dozen or so players that had a problem. However, if anyone else does experience an issue, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

AND... Word from the printer suggests that they are ahead of schedule and will probably send the Pulp Leagues books to us sooner than expected.

I have to say, the new book is fantastic! Just the simple fact that all the perks and abilities are collected in one place is great. Add to that the ideas for settings and kits... great job guys!

I'm currently out and about in the world on travels, but as soon as I get home I'm gonna make some new leagues (sci-fi and supers) and play some games! And hopefully post some pictures as well.

Hi

I had downloaded the free PA Quick Start rules pdf tolook through, and was planning on getting the Main Rulebook, Perilious Island and Pulp Leagues books once my friends were happy with the basics.

Yet I found even when I was picking out miniatures to buy for potential Leagues, I was struggling to work out in advance how to set up the various Leagues. Ok I knew that would be 10 slots with 3/2/1 for Sidekick/Ally/Follower or Animal. But what about Abilities or Perks? How could I make the Servants of Ra different from Thugees or Black Dragon Tong etc? How could I differentiate Pistols to Rifles to SMG to Shotguns.

So I decided sod it and picked up the Pulp Leagues pdf, and I could not be happier!!!     

Love the Terror rules - that will allow me to throw the occasional T-Rex at the PC adventuring heroes.

Love the Dominion/Ancient Sect/Dark Pact rules - that will enable to set up some of shadowy cults serving various Go'Auld that I wanted for Stargate themed Pulp campaign.

Love the Weapon Kits - gives me the level of differentiating various weapons without being bogged down in intricate detail.

Very happy with Pulp Leagues.

Off to draw up some sample Leagues.....
