Eugene the Enchanter's War Party, so far.
His apprentice "Tiny" Tim Cratchit and a large metal construct called Herbert,
Herbert is a totally repainted MageKnight Golem and Tim is from WestWind's classic Vampire Wars line. Sorry about the double post but I timed out when I was typing this and they put my entry on a seperate topic and not part of this thread.

Troll and Crossbowman! The Troll is a rebased and repainted MageKnight fig. The crossbowman is from WestWind's Vampire Wars line. I've painted up a couple of trolls for Frostgrave but this is the first one I'm happy with. This MageKnight mini has the height, width and ferocious demeanor that says troll to me. Also he was free. In January I was given a friends collection of MageKnight figs. The crossbowman is from a pack of Transylvanian Villagers. His clothing is close enough to Victorian. Crossbowmen in 19th century costuming are pretty rare. Early in this thread you can see ones I converted from ACW flag bearers.

New Thugs! Thugs are my favorite characters in Frostgrave, redshirts of the frozen city. The fig on the left is from WestWind's classic Vampire Wars line and the other is from Artizan's Thrilling Tales. The mini with the shovel reminds me of Bert the chimney sweep from Mary Poppins. Bert fled to Felsted when he became the prime suspect in the disappearance of the nanny from 17 Cherry Tree Lane. The authorities never believed his story of her "blowing away on the west wind".

Thanks Schoon! I like that figure as well. I hate painting checkered patterns but they look so good when finished. I think the mini looks like a cross between Super Mario and John C. Reilly.

Gnoll! This fig is a repainted MageKnight plastic werewolf. Last Jan. a friend of mine gave me his plastic mini collection. I've been going through it a piece at a time. This werewolf's short snout and fantasy armor made me think of the gnoll warriors from Frostgrave. The fig was brown plastic with bright yellow pauldrons and random splotches of red paint. I looked at several painted gnolls and settled on grey skin with dirty yellow brown spotted fur. I painted it in an afternoon and I'm pretty pleased with it.

Captain Van Wolversing! The Capt. is from WestWind's OOP Rippers of the Horror Wars line. The mini seems to be a mash up of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Van Helsing Characters. So introducing Capt. Van Wolversing! The curved metal piece protruding from his coat is the bow of a crossbow. I thought it was some sort of flash and almost trimmed it off. There is a lot of variance in scale in WestWind's figs. The second pic shows the Capt(25mm) next to a WestWind Vampire Wars mini(32mm). The wolverine in the comic books is supposed to be a shorter guy so this mini fits the bill. Thanks to horridperson, beefcake and jp1885 for the kind words!

Bear! I've been needing something of an ursine persuasion for awhile and finally I have one. The fig is a totally repainted MageKnight plastic Werebear. It's big, 54mm, and broad as well. Originally the mini was a brown plastic with the teeth and claws picked out with white paint. The only other colour were splotches of red on the ears and on the back of the neck, if that was supposed to be blood splatter it was in odd places. I considered painting it as a black bear or polar bear but I settled on brown. I don't know what species of bear the fig was reflecting, to judge by it's 8 pack I'm guessing its a cross fit bear. The second pic is a tableau of one of my favorite Shakespeare quotes,"Exit pursued by a bear."
