The 1980's GW figures where among their best IMO. The garden of evil looks nice it could us some dead flowers though.

Frostgrave has been quite the spur for painting. These are the 26 figs I've painted since late August. These minis span almost 30 years of collecting. I've got another 25 I've painted for other projects that I feel go with the game. That's enough for several warbands, now time for cultists and monsters! Thanks to Kid Terminal, Knightofspades, Mister C et al. for feedback and positive comments.

Thanks! I painted up the enchanter and metal construct for VSF games years ago. Frankenstein was painted in the beginning of August just before I caught Frostgrave Fever! I think the group shot looks like the Gilbert And Sullivan Society vs The Little Dickens Carolers at a Winter Carnival.

Skeletons!  You manage to get some treasure, elude your opponent and what shows up? Skeletons the occupational hazard. The fig with the axe is from GW the other three are from RAFM. I like that the RAFM ones look a little not human. I picture Felsted to be one of those very old when Egypt was young kinda places. I played around with a rusted look on the skeleton's armor, not entirely happy with it. I think I bought these after seeing Army of Darkness. Finally got around to painting them this weekend.

Imp! This fig is from Ral Partha. I discovered it in a box of flying Martians I've been meaning to paint.

Lich Lord Cultists! The cult of the Lich Lord has always had a following in the circles of the aesthetes, decadents and rive gauche dwellers. Poe makes him a central character in his poem The City in the Ice, " Lo Death has reared himself a throne in a frozen city lying alone down within the dim ice..." Here we have a cult Sigilist , his apprentice and a cult Templar. The Sigilist and his apprentice are from GW. The Templar is from Ral Partha or Grenadier. I was intending on using these as Cthulhu cultist. I've got at least one more hooded fig for a cult member after that its cowls.
