Walking Book Miniature
« on: August 31, 2015, 06:59:07 AM »
Someone posted a very cool picture of a walking book miniature but I cannot find it. If someone could help point me in the right direction to the company that sells them, I would like to purchase one of these miniatures. Thank you in advance for any and all assistance. Also, any other companies that manufacture scrolls, elementals, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you in advance.

They have elementals too, some of them in a translucent variant of their bones plastic.

The walking book is a very old, very OOP and very sought after GW model from the range of familiars they did.

eBay or want ads are you best bet for finding someone willing to part with one.

A walking book is going to be so easy to make though. You really don't need to spend way too much for a mini like that. Find an opened book bit, find some spare zombie legs or something similar. Good to go.

Maybe that was me!

And yes, Games Workshop (amazingly) still sell it on their website.

Thanks folks for all of your assistance. Cymril your link and Predatorpt your picture is the one I was looking for. Thanks. As for the GW one...I had no idea that one existed, so thanks rufus sparkfire, robh and McYellowbelly for that one as well. Also thanks  Daniel36, as that is a great idea as well.

I had to chime in with my own example from Kingdom Death.
