(Commercial) More Ottomans Added to the Matchlock 28mm Range
« on: September 03, 2015, 05:28:06 PM »
For anyone waiting to see the Matchlock Miniatures 28mm Napoleonic Ottoman range expand, there are now three more figures - together they form the Command group.

The whole (always expanding) range is here: http://miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Catalogue.aspx?ScaleID=14&CategoryID=36&SubCategoryID=328

Infantry Officer and Infantry Flag Bearer are £1.30 each, the two Cauldron Bearers, with their soup cauldron, are £3.25.

Could be used for Renaissance and Eighteenth Century games, since uniforms and blade weapons didn't really change...

The first figure appears to be another standard bearer not an officer as his right arm is out and the hand positioned as if holding a standard

Those are pretty sharp figures actually. A welcome addition to the period.

I bought some of the redoubt figures recently and was sorely disappointed - worn moulds have spoiled the range it would seem. So I think I will take a look at these once I have finished my other projects.
