First Born, Last Up
« on: September 14, 2015, 08:22:13 AM »
I never quite understood how the youngest race in the Chronopia backstory was called the Firstborn (beyond the obvious desire to call them something other than just humans). I guess it goes with raising cities to the ground, which seemed to be the favorite pastime.

In any case, after having pretty much run out of dwarfs and elves, I decided to tackle my Firstborn as most of them had been already been taken out of blisters long ago.

To add a little complication, I decided to do them in the same style I used for the original batch over ten years ago. I haven't really painted in this style in a long time...

I guess I'll be doing the Iron Guard next...

Yes, it's time for the Iron Guard.

These stalwart defenders of humanity guard the Firstborn cities, and unlike most real life guard duty professionals are actually hypersuperultra elite soldiers.

This is another set of retro-clones, i.e. I tried to imitate the style I used for the first batch of these about ten years ago.

I'm running out of Firstborn as well, I'll do some Black Sisters and Desert Crusaders next month but then I have to think up something new for December.

The Sisters are doing it for themselves!

To finish off my Firstborn infantry, here are some Black Sisters and Desert Crusaders:

Next month, I think it'll have to be something orcy...

Nicely done, the old figures have come up well.

Curious that the fully armoured ones look so much like the new GW AoS figures

The Forces of Humanity are UBERCOOL minis, BEAUTIFULLY painted. My favorite are the Sisters; re, I have a weakness for The Girls. Be that as it may, VERY WELL DONE!
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx
