Napoleonic PBEM Campaign – Command Vacancies
« on: October 01, 2015, 07:55:59 AM »

This is a long running fictional Napoleonic campaign set in Germany and Spain.  There are five campaign areas, each with its own French and allied commander.   Each area is an independent campaign.

Each campaign lasts a maximum of 12 campaign days.   We try to complete one campaign day each week.  So each campaign should last no more than three months.

Each campaign starts with both armies at full strength and fully supplied.   They are given a city as an objective and both commandes then plan their own campaign.   Most battles are decided by a wargame fought by my wife and I.   Uneven battles are decided by campaign rules

I now have two roles to fill.

The first is Napoleon, fighting Blucher and his Prussian Army in northern Germany.   He commands four corps, including the Old Guard.   But the role is the same as any of the other ten army commanders in the campaign.   No special knowledge or skills required.

The second is Marshal Oudinot, fighting the Austrians in southern Germany.   He also commands four corps, three Bavarian and one Baden.
