That's an awesome looking Jokermobile! I've never seen that design before.

obsidian3d and leonmallett, thanks to both of you for the kind words.  From what I have seen for the Batman related kid's meal vehicles, this Jokermobile is probably the nicest in terms of detail.  I'd never seen this version before until I found it at the swap meet and when I looked for it on eBay, I found other Jokermobiles but not this one... guess I was very lucky to get the one I did.  Thanks again for writing.  Richard

Thanks to your thread Richard, I've been on the lookout for that Carl's jr jokermobile and have tracked one down on ebay through a Canadian seller,
Really looking forward to painting it when it arrives.

The collectibles traders on ebay owe you a commission  lol

Jim, thank you.  I'm glad I could be of help.  I think you will have a lot of fun with the Jokermobile when it arrives.  I've seen a couple different kid's meal versions of this but this particular version is a great size for the HeroClix figures and has some very good detail for a kid's meal toy.  Richard

A couple weeks ago I found The Penguin’s Umbrella Jet by Kenner Toys in a pile of broken toys at the swap meet.  I immediately fell in love with the umbrella bombs it carried under each wing and since it was only $1 and appeared to be in pretty good shape (I’d never seen one before so I was guessing about that), I bought it.  The big obstacle was the fact that it was intended to be a single-seat plane for a huge figure of The Penguin.  I needed to enclose the cockpit area to allow the impression that The Penguin was flying an aircraft intended to carry several 28mm-size figures rather than only huge figure.  In addition to enclosing the cockpit (I used Evergreen plastic for that), I added a rear/push propeller.  At the swap meet last week I found a broken toy airplane (approximately 1:48 scale) with a good 4-bladed propeller for 50 cents.  I drilled the nose of the propeller out so it would slip over the existing rear projection on the Umbrella Jet.  Once these changes were made I built a stand so the plane could fly (made from Evergreen plastic and Milliput), and gave the plane a new paint job/basically the original color scheme.  I’ve provided some pictures below.  The figure is one of the HeroClix Penguins. I've included a picture of the box lid for the plane in case anyone is interested in looking for one.
