Yes, definitely I think you're right. I find the same difficulties in finding suitable miniature also for Dwarves. I'm sure I saw somewhere a guy producing non-chronopia dwarves, but I can't find the right link - sorry  :'(

All in all: great paint on the axemen (they are intended for House of Helios or Obsidian Serpent - or both?  :))

Thanks. I went for a Helios flame motif here.

Most of my elves are Helios, some are Crystal Lotus and right now the lone Obsidian Guard and a golem hold the flag for Serpent... though I think I'll paint the dragon rider (the big one) I'm working on right now for them as well. Then I have three or four more golems and maybe getting another lotus eater I could have sort of super elite Serpent force...

Obsidian never had as good a selection of specials as the others.

The bottom of the pansy bin is visible!

Here's the latest entry, some Helios spearmen:

I have a couple characters in the works, but now I really have to think up something new for next month. Firstborn or Blackbloods, hmmm, that is the question...

And to finish it off, some Helios heroes:

Now I've really run out of elves. Just the dragon rider left, but I'll do that on the side.

Sorry guys, Firstborn are already on the workbench:

Blackbloods will have to wait... though these shouldn't take too long.

A little addition to the elven arsenal... unlike the scrawny Cold One wannabes, this flying dragon is actually pretty neat.

Those who know the model probably noticed I left out a couple of parts... I just didn't think the LazyBoy chair really belonged there and the javelin rack was just flimsy. Besides how the heck are you supposed to throw them while hanging onto the lance?

Hey, wonderful work on the wings!

That's Anarchy Models' HS Stencils at work -- pretty ok for the first attempt (and I'm the worst airbrusher in the world).

Incidentally, they are just running a KS to add more designs.

I only wish they'd pay me for posting pics and links...
