For when the party is traversing a swamp and someone rolls a 1:

Reaper Miniatures parts 77291 and 9100.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

There is something delightfully upsetting about tentacles with or without an attachment to some hideous monster. YET ANOTHER GREAT IDEA...VERY WELL DONE!

Brilliant idea and execution!

I am reminded of this line from Jack Vance's Cugel's Saga:

"I would offer my congratulations were it not for this tentacle gripping my leg."

Tentacular horrors from beyond the pale, I love it!
Great work!

Were those tentacles entirely homebuilt, or did you scavenge them from something?
I've been thinking of scavenging some tentacles from a dime-store kiddy monster bag... but they don't have any dime-stores as such here in France. I'm keen to hear what went into these beauties.

Though I don't always follow this advice myself, there is always something creepier in using tentacles alone, and leaving what they're attached to up to the players' imaginations. Very well done!

Reminds me of that creepy scene in Flash Gordon where he gets attacked by some weird swamp creature on Arborea.

Looks really good. I think I know the miniatures from Reaper, but where do the tentacles come from?

Those are left over from when I re-porpoised Reaper's Bones kraken to be a planet-devouring space monster.

Thanks all for the kind words.
