Another week, and another update - this time it's my turn with a squat rogue/thief: Jebediah Corbain

He's one of Citadel's old squat adventurers, painted up in traditional Western style! I sculpted the right arm and added a plastic Necromunda laspistol.

You can read more about him over at my blog.

Very cool

I like it! You solved this one pretty well, I like its aspect and how much the mini tells. The colour choice is a total win.

So we're already at level 5 of the Rogue Quest, this time, I wante dto go with one of my favourite (if not my favourite) classes : the paladin.

Lawful, shiny, gentle and a little poncy, the paladin is probably th emost predicatble character and yet I find him the most surprising when well played. What better option in Rogue Trader than to use a Space marine and since we're dwelling in the ROgue Trader side of things here, what better option than to use one of the iconic Naismith Marines ?

I've divided the model in 2 parts, one for fire and one for lightning to give an elemental look to him which hopefully ties him with the enchanted weapons and spells of traditional RPG.

More about him in the Blogpost HERE.

Lovely paintjob and a great choice of figure for the Paladin.
A nice touch with the mittens too.

After JB's lovely Paladin, it's my turn yet again this week. I fancied something elven, and the obvious route seemed to be to go for the bard archetype. After that it was easy - I selected an Eldar musician equipped with the bizarrely exotic voice amplifier:

Here's the adventuring party so far:

Very nice work. :)

The Eldar helmet makes him/her look very sinister, and the final shot of them all lined up has a pleasingly subtle height variance that appeals to me. Well done!

I notice that there are a lot of white Eldar these days.
It must be the new black.... ;)

Thanks both! I'm a big fan of white on models, even though I only had confidence to paint white armour / outfits relatively recently.

I actually painted the helmet white as well originally, but he looked like a cross between a cylon and a storm trooper, so the blue is probably better ;)
