is there a blog / thread of Spells reviewed / summarised?

Has anyone out there done a review of all the spells of a short breakdown of what they all do, soooo much choice is making it very difficult for me....

There really aren't that many spells to choose from once you choose your wizard type. 

Starting out I recommend HIGHLY that most of your spells be Casting Value 8 or 10.  They higher level spells will be more likely to fail early on.

Make sure you have a decent mix of attack, movement and defense spells.

Also keep in mind the negative modifiers of spells outside your own school of magic.
