Our first game of Frostgrave!
« on: September 27, 2015, 05:44:34 PM »
The boy and I had our first game of Frostgrave this afternoon. We loved it! Fast-paced and full of action...lots of fun! I shall do a proper AAR at some point over the next week or so but in the meantime here are a few teaser pics...

...a few more pics on the blog here!

Lovely looking table you've got there. The minis look very nice too. How did you find it? I haven't played it yet but a friend and I have both assimilated the rulebook and are hoping to get a start on it soon.  :D

We loved it. My boy is just 9 but he picked it up pretty quickly...and afterwards said this was his favourite of the games we've played together (IHMN and Lion Rampant being the others). It's fast-paced and pretty brutal (I took out my son's Wizard in the first round with a lucky 20 critical hit!) but with the objective being to get as many treasures off the table as possible and with so much terrain to give cover the game can be anyone's! It ended up being a draw...three treasures each.

All the kind words much appreciated!

I loved both female apprentices.
