Amazing, that Thog. Quality, quality, quality, and that from a somewhat vague first artist drawing :o.

I started this thread a long while ago, expecting to receive my Conan KS soon. It did last a while though, but now the first batch has been done!

Nice fire effect on Hadrathus (including the arm). Were these undercoated with a brush or spray?

White sprayed undercoat. Then painted with Vallejo/Model Hobby color and GW inks.

Cool - I want to make sure I can just spray paint mine black when I get them as the undercoat.

One warning then. The detail on the female figures is there, but pretty fine. Black undercoat usually takes more paint to make a colour cover, so you might lose detail. Hence my choice for white.

Looking good Pijlie. The left one - forgot his name - is my favourite design of the heroes in de box.
Von Lucky, I would say these models need washing to get the detail out, so a quick wash over the white/grey undercoat would surely bring the detail out. Time permitting I will start on a Black Dragon tonight...

Looks good. How did you find the gameplay?

I really liked my first taste of the game. It feels like a boardgame/skirmish game crossover and the energy management system really makes things interesting.

I got on board of the KS purely for the miniatures, but the fact that it seems a really good game is a fantastic bonus!

Nice to hear this, as I haven't done my first game yet.

And you've done a very good work. On the board your painted minis look really great ! :-*
