Cork Tile Ruin
« on: October 08, 2015, 12:07:49 PM »
One of my first efforts at building a terrain "building" entirely from scratch I would welcome any suggestion or feed back.

My blog has an out line of the stepts I went through making this but for the those who might be a little impatient  :D

And I agree the center is a little to clean, I'm just not sure how I want to fix it.. again suggestions are welcome.

Rubble. Can't go wrong with rubble.

Awesome looking bit of kit though.

I agree with ChaosChild. A little rubble will go a long way. A couple of small pieces of broken balsa, some gravel or small bits of shale, maybe a couple of small chunks of plaster and a loose weapon or two. You don't want so much that the minis are going to tip over. Also, the tile floor looks too clean. A dark brown wash with some ground up pastel over that would do a lot for the piece.
