Tau paint scheme thoughts
« on: October 10, 2015, 07:36:07 AM »
Hello,

I am looking to start a new Tau army. I painted some bits about ten years ago but didn't like the colour scheme.

I have done this test shot and am about 80% convinced that it is the way to go. I was seeking some feedback on if it is the way forward and any pointers on improving it?

Thank you

Stevo

Maybe a slightly lighter shade? I find the Tau have such nice lines that you want to keep it bright.

Thank you Neonwraith.

Thank you von lucky, I got the same feedback on the blog. I am going to try a light base but I could pop it to Dawnstone Grey as the mid tone.

Update:

So I have added some more detail and sorted the base. Just so you can see the plan to go forward.
