MDF bases?
« on: October 15, 2015, 12:30:19 AM »
Will MDF contribute to lead rot? I've heard that wood will promote it, and I just based a bunch of my old 1985 Citadel LOTR on MDF! Is it safe? They are painted and sealed.

No, not especially. There's a concern in the art world about MDF and paper or canvas because of it's mild acidity but it doesn't extend to painted pewter.

Relax and post some pictures.  :)
