Operation Martlet Pint Sized Campaign released.
« on: October 14, 2015, 01:08:38 PM »
Afternoon all

I thought that some of you might be interested to know that we have just released Operation Martlet, our latest pint-sized campaign for Chain of Command.

As usual we have been burning the midnight oil, slaving over first hand accounts, Regimental diaries, aerial photographs and the likes to put together an account of the historical action to capture the Rauray Spur in support of Operation Epsom.  We've described the plans, order of battle and the likes, just to provide a good backdrop to the argaming content.  Then we have six tables which can be used for a campaign of up to eleven games, covering the attack of the Royal Scots Fusiliers on Fontenay le Pesnel and the Duke of Wellington Regiment heading South to Rauray itself.  On the German side the Panzergrenadiers of III/26 12 SS Hitlerjugend are attempting to hold the line against the onslaught.

As always this bundle of wargaming fun can be downloaded for the price of a pint in the Lard Island local, just £3.60.  It's 28 pages of printer-friendly text, but as always you'll just need to print out one page for each game, so VERY printer friendly indeed.  All part of our drive to try to provide the best value for money in the hobby.

Operation Martlet can be found here:  http://toofatlardies.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25&products_id=163

And here's a gratuitous picture of the cover:

Mod Edit: Image removed due to the use of SS insignia on the cover.
