Grey Panda does Frostgrave
« on: October 19, 2015, 08:01:55 AM »
Due to the all-inclusive nature of Frostgrave I find it inspiring to see all the diverse Wizard's and warband's on various battle reports etc.

So here's some pics of a few warbands that have already experienced the city of Frostgrave:

Elementalist and Apprentice

New Reaper Minis

Warband

From R to L: Crossbow=Gripping Beast Norman, Knight= Prepainted Pathfinder, Thugs=Prepainted D&D (repainted), Man @ Arms=Gripping Beast Viking, the archer = I believe is a Citadel mini from many moons ago, same with the Dwarf Giant Killer (lords of legend)

Illusionist and Apprentice

R-L Pathfinder (repainted) Apprentice=Descent mini

Warband

R-L LAdy w dagger behind back=D&D, Ranger Girl w bow=Descent mini , girl holding sword=repainted D&D, lady barbarian=Pathfinder prepaint, girl w daggers running =pathfinder reapers, two thugs=gripping beasts celts slings

Witch/Necromancer

D&D minis modified w Heroclix energy/power/magic

Warband

Horny Bloke in the front=Citadel Champion of Chaos 80's, Cultists w shields and maces =citadel cultists from the 80's, all other cultists are D&D

Thaumaturge/Summoner

Both Pathfinder prepainted

Warband

R-L Thug=gripping beast celt w sling, Fat solider=citadel fat empire solider, hobbit w dagger= descent, girl thief w daggers= prepainted pathfinder, lady knight= prepainted pathfinder, red archer=citadel 80's, crossbow=norman gripping beast, lady archer=D&D prepainted (repainted)

Thank you  :) I didn't have a lot of fantasy minis and I had to gather quite a few rather hastily so the most are pretty rushed but not bad for a ruined city (although a couple of the ladies will be feeling the cold  :D )

excellent work. there is a lot of character to each of those warbands. I particularly like the Necromancer's warband.

would it be possible to get a run down of the manufacturers of your minis? there are a few that I don't recognise.

Thank you Gents  ;)

admiraldick I've edited the original post with captions beneath. However most are either brand new and prepaints or ones I had from the 80's when I roleplayed...just rescued them from my old place back in Ireland this summer. My recollections of what they are might not be very accurate unfortunately. My memory isn't what it used to be  :?
