Perry Wotr plastics?
« on: October 27, 2015, 08:40:38 AM »
The perry wotr infantry is dated to 1450-1500 or so, but how far back would the arms be believable?  Would the pole arm arms be reasonable for a 13th or 14th century fireforge body?  What about the bow arms?  I guess the basic shape of a bow wouldn't change that much, but wold the 2 handed weapons have been in use then?

From the sources that I'm aware of the English Bill isn't formally named until you get to the Wars of the Roses/Cousins War.

Still, it would have been a fairly easy weapon to convert from te hedge cutting bill hook so I think we can say with some degree of confidence that it would have been used earlier. To say exactly how much earlier would be conjecture on my part.

In other words, yeah, you'll get away with it as they were probably used earlier :)
