Nylon was developed in 1935, but I this guy definitely looks like he might have had access to secret research prototypes… maybe he was even involved in Project Nylon Lead Adventure

  nor do I .I was going to pop it into the re-enactor thread...However that is rather old.Rather amazing the amount of kit one assembles over the years; most of what is pictured is pre-WW2,and what amazes me is that it is still in excellent working order.The binoculars pictured are more comfortable to use than my modern(and expensive) Steiners; Sam Browne belt is a bugger though
