I don't make them but I think they are water slide. They are not like the lbm ones, you put these in water first.

Note that the cloth tabs attaching the main banner (with the noughts and crosses playing field mon) to the staff are black, not red. I saw the original in Hikone castle a few years ago and had to do some rapid repainting when I got home.

Yeah straight after I posted I went on your site and saw them.

Question for those with the greater knowledge:

I have see clan mon's painted/applied to the Hat's (Jingas?) and on the chest armour.

1. Is that accurate?
2. Will you be making a decal to make that process easier?
3. Would they be on both?

I have tried smaller decals but they are fiddly and expensive to produce clearly in such a small size. They are accurate but not necessary, as sashimono or other field signs would do the job. Though I do put them on some troops. You could put them on both or either it depends how uniform you want to make them. Personally I think when doing complex things in such a small scale, if you cannot do it perfectly don't bother as it will detract from the appearance of your collection.

Some good points. I have been doing small scale modeling for years and I am used to tiny decals, however on a commercial standpoint I can see your point. I wonder how easy it would be to make my own?
