Cheap 'round flying bases'?
« on: 29 October 2015, 11:23:38 PM »
Hey,

Does anyone know where I can get some round-footed flying bases? You know, the sort GW sell, but not at their crazy prices.

Cheers,

MM.

THey sell black and white versions. I've got some black ones, but I don't know if the "white" they sell means "clear".

In the past I've used cheap acrylic wine glasses that are available from supermarkets or party supply stores. The bases are either separate or removable. Glue a piece of clear acrylic rod into the base for the upright.

Alternatively: get some one piece acrylic wine glasses. Saw off the stem to the required height and use that.
