Look through some of the historical ranges in the Dark Ages or earlier periods. I find the Germanic lines have the most "barbarian" look to them.

To me Frostgrave wizards seem look later Medieval Fantasy while most of the soldiers look Ancient & Dark Ages. Guess the class system is in full effect.  :D

THis guy from GB, while not correctly armed for FG, is a giant, at least a head taller than your average 28mm fig, so you he'd certainly stand out as a tank if you wanted:

Shadowforge do some nice Valkyrie (Shielmaidens), I have some though mine appear as Women@Arms 'cos they have hand weapons. Painted up nicely too.
