And a lovely scene to boot. Only a thung smokes a cigar in a cemetery.

No.93 - Some Sunny Day

Private, 1st (Armoured Airborne) Battalion, Royal Ulster Rifles. Operation Marmite, Obersalzberg, July 1946.

As you know, Operation Marmite was the code name for the final assault on the Alpenfestung. A combined operation involving British, French, American, Soviet and Free German forces against the last Nazi holdouts; it was costly, but ultimately successful. The last copy of Hitler's brain-pattern was captured when the RUR secured a mostly-intact Robo-Hitler by taking out its legs with sustained PIAT fire. The matrix card containing the brain-pattern is on display in the Tower of London to this day.

Our weary private breathes a sigh of relief, knowing it is finally over and he has survived to the end. He is clad in a Mk.II Robinson suit and armed with a PIAT-Bren. The Mk.I Robinson suits were simply repainted German suits captured in North Africa. The Mk.II replaced the sophisticated but volatile German fusion core with the less powerful but more reliable British fission core. The Mk.III was an entirely British design. Arriving too late to be deployed in WWII, it won fame in the Korean War of 1950-75.

(Figure: Projekt X conversion, purchased from Scarab Miniatures. Head by Artizan Designs.)

We'll meet again,
Don't know where, don't know when,
But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day.

With Cat-Like Tread
Upon our prey we steal...

Oooh, I had a lasting fit reading that, Plynkes! Lovely paintjob to, but that bit of fluff was trademark you. It reminded me of the early, sillier days of LAF.
