Wow, wasn't expecting such a clamour!  lol

After thinking about it for a few days, I've decided that the blaster on the front annoys me as it is made of very springy, rubber like plastic. I think I may try to replace it with a spare from the Dreamforge Eisenkern kit, and give it a more rigid mount.

Not likely to happen soon, but one of these days...

Mine turned up yesterday. Great stuff. I posted this on Frothers as well and a similar scramble ensued there as well. Here's hoping they release more in this scale!

or any others in the this range?

Off the Amazon page:

Measures about 5"

So far I've bought 3 different Luke Speeders, and they're all either too large or too small, even though some of the descriptions suggest they would work with 28mm ::)

The one you linked to seems to be too large though; Wookiepedia has the speeder at a length of 3.4 meters, so yours would be about 1:27 scale...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Thanks for the info. I'll compare the other vs wookiepedia as the prices are pretty good.

Picked up two speeders today. The gun needs replacing but everything else looks fine. Really tempted to do a scifi whaling expedition game with them :)
So many projects..... so little time.......

It's £19.99 at Amazon UK

http://www.amazon.co.uk/STAR-WARS-AWAKENS-SNOWSPEEDER-VEHICLE/dp/B017BQAWDU/ref=sr_1_2?s=kids&ie=UTF8&qid=1447093614&sr=1-2&keywords=Snowspeeder

What models are out there, like the Revell kits, that can be used for Imperial Assault?

Then don't buy it there! I bought mine for £7.95 from the Disney store.

Never heard of "Disney stores" before. I assume there are none here in Sweden, but maybe I'm just out of the loop. Surely this kind of thing has to show up in ordinary toy stores as well, though...?

A friend asked for a scale shot so I took a couple using figures that most people would easily recognise. Also that didn't have tabs or bases. Thought you guys might find them useful too.
