Very cool!  The pond with the leaves is the perfect touch to put it over the top IMO.  I looked at resin a few times to make a marsh to make one...not as nice as your pond but I just got lazy and bought one off of eBay already done.   :)

That is one sweet looking table! Anyone playing on that is truly lucky. 8) 8) 8)

The pond looks great, giving a real feeling of depth.
The stool and fishing line is a really nice touch too.

A nice creepy table, the little details (leaves on the water, moss on the roof) really add to the atmosphere.

After having played 1st edition SA a couple of years ago, I had my first taste of 2nd edition SA yesterday.

And it tasted great! Thanks for another excellent game Malebolgia! An awesome gaming table filled with great miniatures, together with quick reference guides to keep the game running smoothly. :)

I think everyone who was lucky to have enjoyed your game had a blast yesterday. 8)

Cheers!

Marijn, I can only repeat what has been said above. It was a fast and fun packed game, great table and I really admire your painting skills. Too bad that last cultist got away ;)

Thanks guys...I also had a blast. Great players and great games. Each game went differently and in every game there were different 'stars'. The players also picked up the rules very fast and we had lots of laughs all around. And that's always a good sign!

Here are pictures of the games in progress:

The table setup. Easy to do after "dry fitting" it at home. Also displayed lots of stuff next to the game to show what it all has.

Agent Smithers duking it out with the Mi-Go (who is plain nasty in close combat due to the high CON). A very fast, but interesting first game.

Start of the second game...Threshold is rushing in while the Cult is terrorizing the poor hermit.

The Mi-Go and Cultist with shotgun try to stall the agents, but their aim is poor...

While the youngest Cultist present at Poldercon plots his retreat, special agent Roon tries to stop the Cultist while he is running away. The ending is tense with the Cultist going Face Up close to the edge of the table (he was the last man standing). But in the end he barely manages to escape, while the rest of the Cult was slain.

In the third game we had four sides (with me playing one group of Lurkers...containing a proxy because I forgot the Snakeman at home!  >:(). This was also the only game using the event cards. Which were fun, but...

...Divine Intervention proved to be a tough cookie! It was played twice on Threshold Characters which was a big bummer for the Cult.

The Cult tries hard to stall Threshold, while the Cultist with knife keeps on harassing the hermit. Took 4 turns to get the info out of him!

But in the end he manages to get to the edge of the table...and the dastardly Jan plays a...Divine Intervention on him! Apparently he was protected by Cthulhu and he could get away. Threshold was close...very close.

And forgot to take some good pictures of game 4!

A shot with an overview of the con. Lots of great people, lots of great games and a fantastic atmosphere. Awesome day.

Thanks to all the players for the great games and thanks to Poldercon for a fantastic event. It was a blast 8).

Excellent looking games - the table is everything it should be. Felt sorry for the young cultist - he looks mesmerized by the awesome table in front of him.  o_o o_o

Please you had a good day, is a big reward for all the effort you put into the game.  :D
