Don't need another game but I'll be stalking eBay for Ghar figs, that's for sure.

Checked out the test rules when they first came out; should have paid more attention, I guess.

Interestingly, I'm intrigued by the Boromites the most. I think it's my perceived Dr Who connection.  lol

I'll be watching!

I can be patient for Ghar. They'll be affordable once the novelty wears off. Not like I don't have other stuff to paint in the meantime.

Rulebook arrived today. God it's heavy!  ;)

The more I see of the Isorians the more I'm drawn towards them.

There are things I really like about all the factions!!! I'll start with Ghar and Concord, because that's what I've got, but resisting the urge to collect the others as well will be very hard work.

And yes, the rulebook is very heavy. It is well-written (I read a bit chunk of it this afternoon) - I was a bit worried that the text would be like the advertised hype. The book is well organised too - better organised than the beta rules.

Rick told me it was a deliberate homage to 40K/Rogue Trader.

Glad to see they made it despite the KS experience.
I've been really tempted to buy it for a few minutes this afternoon. Then I realized that I would lack the time to paint the models just in the box or would probably want too many of their toys (and still lacking time to paint them) so I resisted.
I might buy the book one of those days as many say it's a cool one and the system based upon Bolt Action seems a bit interesting/fun.

I'm in the same place you are. I still have a few hours to make the order if I want the limited edition Fartok (although I'm not actually that interested in the figure), but I try to remind myself that I would have to either put my other projects on hold, or leave the figures unpainted and unused for a few months at least, and thereby miss the excitement of being on the bandwagon when the bandwagon is at its most festive. And I try to remind myself that I don't actually want the Concord, even if maybe I could use the drones for other games.

I'm still not entirely sure whether to pass on the starter box, though. I just realised the rulebook will be £30 (yikes!) on its own. That would mean I'd be paying £40 for the six Ghar battlesuits, Fartok and the Concord Drones, and the Concord infantry would be icing, which isn't so bad. And the shipping is free, if I've understood Warlord's shipping policy correctly. On the other hand, maybe the book will be cheaper on the second-hand market after a while...?

Damn it! Am I about to cave, after all?

That's more or less the thoughts that crossed my mind and I would have taken the plunge if Algoryn were in the box instead of Concord.

I was talking about the cover art... But the game is scaleable - you can play skirmishes with a few squads (20-30 figures), or a battle with lots.

I think it looks like a great game. The starter set seems to be great value, too.
