Alfred the Great and other Dark Age Warriors

Hi all,

until I have my website back online, I do not hope you will mind me posting more pictures of my painted miniatures to share with you all  ;)

I have completed some other Dark Age miniatures from Gripping Beast two weeks ago. I really enjoyed painting them as they offered a little break from my Napoleonics. I have not painted Gripping Beast miniatuers for quite a few years now but must compliment on the quality of the casts and their sculpts. I have finished Alfred the Great, a Anglo-Saxon Warlord and also a Viking Warrior.

The Banner and the Shields are transfers from LBM but the weathering and battle damage was painted on.

I hope you like them. All comments are welcome.

I've always loved your work Sascha. The two-tone fur looks like you could run your fingers through it! Fantastic stuff.

Just that you're post might get overlooked by some of us into the Dark Ages here, which would be a shame because you're painting is first rate.  :)

I've copied these pictures into my 'inspiration' folder.
