I'm starting to get some of the models from my recent kickstarter campaign painted and photographed. Here are some pics of the first Giant Toads to be completed. Painted as Fire and Ice Toads.

And the first Toad I sculpted back in '07 and previously available from Tengu Models.

I currently working on getting the kickstarter orders processed, packed, and sent out. After that I'll be launching a new website for the company and these models along with the others from the campaign can go on general sale.

Those look wonderfully nasty, Iain. I love the teeth on the first specimens. Excellent work with the painting as well!

These figures just shout "BRRRRRAAAPP! RIBET!" (Which is Giant Toad for, "You human! You what's for dinner!").

Excellent sculpts and excellent brushwork. Where were these back when I played Dungeons & Dragons waaaay back in my youth?!

NEXT time you make some frog skulpts.

Make some with hobbit feet sticking out of the mouth... or a hand reaching out with a mace trying to bash the frog!

Indeed, a new fantasy take on an old American classic (just swap the frog for a hobbit with a mace, and the egret for a giant Ice Toad:

I've just painted (actually my second ever painted figure) your first toad. I loved painting him, he was a challenge because I'm still such a novice 😊

Great stuff! Welcome to the hobby. I can remember the second mini I painted was a Citadel Lesser Goblin way back in the early 80's. The first was also a Lesser Goblin, you got two of them in a 40p blister rather than just one normal goblin.

Here are some pics of a few more Fire Toads. I've got one more toad, a Boss Toad, painted up in this colour scheme but he was wet with varnish so didn't make it into the pictures today.
