Somewhere in India
« on: November 20, 2015, 08:01:13 PM »
Well we played another India Mutiny game at the club the other night. This is a running campaign that one of our club members is running (mike) and it could end up anywhere (rumors even Tibet). We used Black Powder as we do like the rules but seriously need to play them more often to avoid flicking through the rule book and looking bemused when a question is asked.

This was a straight forward fight, after the last encounter the British horse was left behind (I commanded it) as they failed to morve more than a couple of inched (failed all my orders rolls).

So here are some pictures. Warning this report might be a little one sided.  ::)

the opening positions.

A close up of the ungrateful troublesome natives who would soon come to regret their rebelious nature.

The heroic British gunners with their loyal troops beside them.

The brave British troops and their loyal indians advance to face the murderous hordes of disloyal natives.

A mob of Indians occupy a building complex (probally hiding from devine retributiuon brought about by their rebellious acts).

The mutineers horse suceed in rolling for three movements and charge into the brave loyal native infantry, a decision they soon regreted.

Another mob of those disloyal villians charge into the loyalist line.

After a couple of rounds of hand to hand the cowardly traitors soon break and run.

Well it was a simple game to remind us of the rules and we will be playing more India Mutiny again, next time we will try a small skirmish game, and hopefully have bigger games when we reaquaint ourselves with Black Powder.
