Beautiful.  Soviet armour has always been my favourite (despite its design flaws!).  Poor suckers never stood a chance though in the first war.  Downright unfair.

He did do a nice job save for the fact that he clearly doesn't realise that the road wheels on both the T-72 and the T-55 have rubber rims. That rather lets it all down IMO.

Thanks to the link on your blog, I was able to get 4 of the T-55's ordered and delivered in time for some gaming this weekend.
These are really great models for the price and I just ordered 4 more to do some different nationalities.
The information sheet that cam with each tank mentions T-34's,T-62's and M1A1's being available but I can't find any mention of them anywhere on the web.

I've been looking for these, sporadically, for the past five years. I suspect they never materialized.  The T-55's are such excellent value for money and great models in their own right it's a great pity the T-62 isn't available. I need a platoon's worth.

I missed who made these on your blog, who was it again? I take it that they're all resin pieces? Damn, I'd be into picking up some plastic kits for conversion purposes (making modernized versions for my Ukrainians stuff), but finding those is hellish.

Concerning the T62 - these T55 are PRC made diecasts that are pretty easy to pick-up on Ebay.  They scale out at around 1:50.  When you get the box they have a slip of paper (in Russian) that says there is a T62 but I haven't been able to locate one yet.  

Concerning modernized T55 - get the James Bond tank from Goldeneye.  They come with the full reactive armor array.  The only flaw is the maker added an open hatch that doesn't exist on a real T55.  The options for fixing this if you desire are to file it off and remake the fuel pannier with green stuff or cover it with camo netting.

These are diecast models sold by various ebay sellers in China. Serach for T-55 diecast on ebay and they will come up. Cheap as chips and some of the sellers will do very good deals on bulk purchase.

I've was able to get 4 of them shipped to the U.S. for $55USD.
I was hoping to get some of the T-62's, but it sounds like they are little more than vaporware and probably don't exist.
Oh well, at $10.50 each, I can flood the table with T-55's to give my M-48's and Centurions something to shoot at.
