Dixon Miniatures 'Yakuza'
« on: November 24, 2008, 11:37:51 AM »
My mate came back from Warfare this weekend with a couple of goodies for me, Big Kris from Musketeer Miniatures (more due to my love of Kristofferson than of Blade!), and a couple of the new Dixon Minis range that was being previewed:

I got the guy with the beer gut and sword, 2nd from left, as well as a girl with pistol, katana and ponytail that isn't illustrated there.

All told, I reckon they look pretty good – aside from some pronounced mould lines, the models are neat, tidy, and will undoubtedly paint up like a dream. I think they're Martin Baker sculpts (they certainly look very Geezers-esque), which works for me!

Does anyone know anything more about them? Release dates, pack contents etc.?

Cheers!

That's certainly a leap forward as far as quality goes for Dixon!!

Well, the interwar-stuff is pretty neat, too...

Yep, saw these at Warfare yesterday in the lead and they look pretty good.
