The Pikemanīs Lament AAR #7 - Rescue of Lieutenant Skytte...

Hi

Here are a some pictures from one of our playtest games of The Pikemanīs Lament rules during the Scanian War 1675-1679. This time we run a plain Rescue mission as the Swedish "hero" Lieutenant Nils Skytte, yes he have been promoted but he was also captured by the danes in the last game so he is now a Danish Prisoner on a small scanian farm waiting to be exanged, transported to Copenhagen or freed by his loyal men...

Of course his men are very loyal although Lieutenant Skytte manage to lead his men in to troubble...so they have decided to try to rescue Lieutenant Skytte... The Danes of course under command of the most efficient Captain Niels Andersen that was at the farm with som Shot units and a field gun...

Great AAR,you have a lovely collection,seems to me the Swedes would have benefited from some Grenadiers,any rules for them in Pikemans Lament I wonder ?

The Swedes didnīt have any grenadiers during the scanian was... The Danes started to introduce them. There will probably be troop types in the Pikemanīs Lament tha work for grenadiers.

Thank you, very glad for your commen as I put a Greate deal in get the gaming table look good, and Also to get the players to keep their att away from the gaming area and instead the sideboards...
