looking for a mammoth
« on: November 22, 2015, 11:11:16 PM »
this might fall under lost worlds.
I'm looking for a mammoth that will scale with 28mm
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Check out this one at Schleich:

http://www.schleich-s.com/en/CA/consumer-service/collectors-items/2012/prehistoric_animals/mammoth/

I have about 6 of them and feel that they scale well enough to work with 28mm. They might be a tad on the large side, but they are painted, solid and work well as far as I am concerned.

I also like the Schleich - BIG but great for 28mm fantasy - could also be converted to carry a howdah -war mammoth. I am planning on making two for my Dwarves.

On a side not does "schliech" mean "sneak up"?  lol

Simple transpositions of letters can get one into a LOT of trouble, no matter the language...  lol

As for Lost Worlds, I thought VSF, through Conan Doyle, invented them.  lol lol lol

Good hunting, Ghost!

The Papo mammoth is pretty good as well - though oversize.
