Excellent painting.  I really love your clean, crisp style.  The subdued palette works really well.

Those are wonderful. So vibrant. What paints did you use?

Nice job on the painting. The colors tie the figures together nicely.

Sorry it's taken so long to answer but real life got in the way, anyway here goes.

Brown - there are four types of brown used one of which uses a base coat of Coat de Armes horse tone brown 235 a mid coat of Vallejo flat brown and a highlight of flat brown and white. This is used mostly on clothing and hats.
Another brown used was GW XV88 and then highlighted with the same colour mixed with white. This was used on small clothes and the odd hat but its main use was for the wooden parts of the musket, the lighter colour used to paint the wood grain.
Another brown colour used again for hats and shoes was a base coat of CDA horse tone brown, mid tone of GW Mournfang brown then Mournfang brown mixed with orange and a touch of white.
The very light colour beige/sand is CDA horse tone dun and then the same couloir gradually lightened with white.
All four of the colours above were also used to paint hair.

Grey and Black areas - anything black was painted errr...black and highlighted with Vallejo black grey 862.
Black grey 862 was used as a main colour for coats hats and small clothes as well and was mixed with white to gradually highlight these items.

Green - is the Foundry British bottle green 41 AB and C.

Blue - is the Foundry Union blue 111 AB and C

Red - is GW Khorne red then mix in yellow as a mid colour and then a dash of white in the same colour as a final highlight.

White - first paint with CDA horse tone light grey 211 highlighted with straight white.

Flesh - base coat is Mournfang brown, then paint in flesh areas with GW Bestigor flesh and a final highlight of Bestigor flesh and white.

Silver - I used bolt gun metal from GW which is no longer available but any dark silver will do after it drys give it a wash with Quickshade strong tone.

Gold - Vallejo Old gold 578 washed with brown ink.

The figures were given two coats of Windsor and Newton professional spray Matt varnish, which is bloody marvellous stuff that really knits all the colours together and I think makes them pop.

And that's it, I hope you find this helpful.

Eventually got round to taking a picture of the painted figures with finished bases

I can report that in their first action they performed very respectably, killing a careless French officer in a cornfield, defending a log cabin until it was torched by unruly French militia and Huron, then dying to a man by valiantly taking on a company of French regulars in hand-to-hand;
