Excellent!

Thanks for the info on the Mass, RI, and Conn dragoons, too!  Is there a good source to read more info on these units?

René Chartrand's Osprey MAA Colonial American Troops 1610-1774 (vol. 2) does a fair job of giving a general overview of the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island colonial forces. Chartrand is always a reliable source when it comes to North American colonial subjects.

Hi
The redoubt Indians are not as big as everyone thinks overall .
The Redoubt are often more  weighty than tall .
I have some conquest in with my Redoubt Indians they are fine.
If I was doing them again I would stick to the Redoubt and Galloping Major figures solely , better range better sculpts ..IMHO
Cheers

I will see what I can do this week, gearing up for running a game at Hotlead this coming weekend.
Cheers,

Hi Mindenbrush,

I've just been admiring your 2015 Historicon game. Excellent stuff. I, like you, use Muskets & Tomahawks as a preferred system for many periods.

Question (request)- would you by any chance be able to take a size comparison pic of the BrigadeGames KPW settlers and Indians, Conquest (Warlord Games), Crusader, Foundry and Perry figures please?

I have lots of Redoubt figures that are large....but I'd like to see the physical difference between them and the specific KPW settler figures as these are what I am looking to buy to branch out into KPW.

Here is my comparison shot of a Redoubt regular against the Hicks sculpt Brigade games War of 1812 mini. It's size is ok, just the 'heft' is a bit off.  I'm thinking that with all the clothing, bags, floppy hats etc of the settler figures that maybe they'll sort of bulk out a bit and not look too bad.

Your help would be appreciated.

Regards

Happy W

Hi Mindenbrush,

That would be great - useful for many others as well I suspect.

Are you running another KPW game?

Cheers

I would second that

if you go for conquest/warlord I would mix with Perry and northstar who are similar in heft etc
