Hi guys,

I'm really exited to read about your games and the tactical builds you've been using. The pigs really start to shine at 100 points since they tend to operate more like an army instead of a D&D party. You can really take advantage of tactical formations with shield pigs supported by soldiers, for example. It's the same with the heroes though. If you set up a good support system for a tank, DPS, and healer you can really clean house. I wish I could play games with you all!

I picked up Darksouls at my friends recommendation and after a few hours I was super inspired to build terrain. I ended up making a ton of terrain, which really helps with running demos.

Yepp, Darksouls has a lot of inspirations for me as well  :)

So, sadly I hadn't the time for hobby-stuff recently, which means that progress in this project isn#t as fast as I planned  :(

At least, I had the time to build some terrain (well, I built one and started with an other one ;) )
I was working on some Mushroom fields, first the finished one:

And the one in progress:

(Waiting for the mushrooms, ordered from Fenris games ;) )

The finished one is undercoated allready, so is the Cottage from Tabletop World, which will be used in this project as well.

And I got a nice package today from Metal King Studios, which included the printed rules and cards, as well as the minis  :D
They are really well done, love them.
Will post some comparison pics of them once I've cleaned and glued them.

Oh, and happy new year to everyone  :)

Small update  :)

While still waiting for my order from Fenris to arrive, I finaly got the time to clean and build some of the minis.

Here's the first pic of them:

From left: Soldier Pig, Cleric, "Alpha" Shield Pig, Questing Knight

The Pigs have all seperate hands, which means they are quite easy to convert.
There are 3 different bodies, and right now I just used the "Soldier/Axe" body to make me my leader as well, the "Alpha".
The other Shield Pigs will get straight blades and square-shields, so that they can easily be distinguished from the "Alpha".
The casting-quality is very good, just very few and very fine moldlines to remove, and the minis are easy to assemble.
My favorite sculpt is the Cleric, love her dynamic pose.

And here a few comparison shots:

Relicblade compared to Confrontation

Relicblade and Red Box

Relicblade and Warhammer

Everything looks great! Well done so far. Forgive me if it's already stated, but what mini line does the new questing knight come from? Really like him.
cheers-

So, small update, again  ;)

Still waiting for my Fenris-order to arrive, I started to work on some terrain pieces.
Will do 4 pieces right now and add more depending on the time I have.

First of, a small village:

Second, the lair of the "Pigs":

Then, a mushroom-field:

And a generic piece:

And finally, a pic of the new character-card I made:

Glad you like it :)

So, time for a small update.
The terrain-piece are ready for flocking, right now they look like that:

The one on the right will be the mushroom-field, which I will paint first before glueing them into place ;)

Hope you like them so far.

Everything looks GREAT. I had plans for floating islands from ages. Seeing yours makes me wanting to finally start the project :)

Please do so, would like to see your take on the islands.
Had the plan to build a long time as well, cause one of my favorite cartoon-series is Dragonhunters, and now, finnaly, I got around building them  :)

Just a few better pics of the boards so far.
No real progress yet, cause I haven't that much hobby-time lately, but you'll get the idea of how they will look when finished ;)

First, Lair of the Piggies again:

The pathway:

And the village:

And with some extra trees:

Hope you like it  :)
