Darrel,
I didn't think it was possible but you're getting better with every figure. These are sublime.
And dangerous. I already bought a few Ribaulds for my 6thC  Irish army but now I' seriously thinking about a Galloglaich warband for Lion Rampant.
Panic, Chaos and Disorder. My job here is done

Thanks chaps :)

Darrel,

I'm really enjoying putting the retinue together which always helps a great deal when painting- I chose The Islemen as the sculpts that Paul has done for Claymore are just sublime. Loads of variation too, again that helps keep the enthusiasm going.

There should be another unit or two very soon- just gotta paint and add tufts to the bases.

And dangerous. I already bought a few Ribaulds for my 6thC  Irish army but now I' seriously thinking about a Galloglaich warband for Lion Rampant.

Go for it! :) You could get away with using nearly all the mini's up to the Late 15th Century. There are some very Irish looking miniatures too. you know you want to  ;) :)

Darrell.

Cheers chaps- appreciated as always :)

There would have been another unit up here tonight if it wasn't for the pesky wind- I haven't been able to varnish anything all day due to the wind swirling in the garage  :'(

Thanks again chaps  :)

Would you share your skin tone recipe? I collect these.  lol

OK..... off the top of my head.....

Vallejo Panzer Aces Flesh Base
Citadel Flesh Wash
Vallejo Model Colour Flesh Base again,
Vallejo Game Colour Elf Skintone
Vallejo Panzer Aces Highlight Flesh

Note that on larger fleshy areas like the legs a mix of Vallejo Panzer Aces Flesh Base and Vallejo Game Colour Elf Skintone is used as an intermediary tone between their respective layers.

Darrell.
