Expansion of Gringo40s 28mm Maximillian range
« on: December 01, 2015, 12:39:14 PM »
Gents

just to advise as of early next year I will turn my attention
to my Maximillian range which needs cavalry/Generals et all
so im happy to take any suggestions/requests on board for
New Troop types or regiments.
as im working on Italy in 1860 this makes life a bit easier
for me as the periods run side by side.
looking forward to any feedback :D 8) :) :-*

Mounted and especially dismounted Chasseurs d'Afrique or other French cavalry.

Basically, any cavalry and generals as mounted/dismounted pairs. You need both for skirmish games, and there's not a lot of period dismounted cavalry.

great news!

Some generic Mexican cavalry that can be deployed for either side would be a good addition - both for us gamers and for you in terms of an 'in demand' multi purpose range.

oh and a nudge on the Mexican Revolution range - Federale Cavalry would be awesome!
thanks

some great input there..................im heading down the Mexican Cavalry
route myself ...

but still mulling things over as there are some great units I can do
and yes the multi-purpose side of things is a must.

It's a bit later than the period (1889), but Frederick Remington's The Mexican Major and corresponding Mexican Cavalry would be lovely:

Definitely some generic types but it would also be nice to see more mounted contra and mule mounted Foreign legion. Great that your doing more with the Maximillian range!

Goliad

agreed the Austrian cavalry would complete the trio
I was looking at the uniforms (undress) to see if I could
do a Generic figure to cover my Garibaldi range and
Mexico........work continues! :D

good suggestion

Those horses on the Remington picture look very ... short.
