Looking good, especially liked the WIP photo for the Trappers cabin on your blog.

After a long delay, I get to take pics of my second group of french marines. Not good photos, I'm afraid, but i hope you'll like them.
Next paint job is for indians and some colonial scenery.

Group pic. I intended pay attention to bases, using various tipes of grass and tuft. Keep working to make more realistic ground

The larger photos on your blog are large enough. Lovely blue and whites.

Another bit of scenery while I finish an Huron war party. Needed a camp for my troops, so I painted this Renedra tents.

Four tents more made with cardboard:

Hi Lord B

The cardboard tents have turned out well. I had a look at the bigger pics on your blog and the edges of the tent look fine. I tried to do cardboard tents and had big score marks on the creases. Maybe I used cardboard that was too thick, can you tell me what thickness of material you used.

I also just saw your cabin, the woodwork looks very nice and I like the way you have put shutters in the window, most people just leave a big hole for a window which I don't think looks right.

Cheers

Thanks, vagabond :)
Well, I used cardboard from a cereals box. It works well.

Cheers - the board I used was much thicker than cereal board, I'll maybe have another go.

Some quick new scenery in order to add to the game. I hope you like it :)

http://portbelisario.blogspot.com.es/2017/02/escenografia-para-musket-tomahawk.html

I recicled some plastic kid trees, flocking the branches and basing.  The result isn't very attractive, but very cheap.

Colonial-style fences, made from mattch sticks. Initially I made only four bases, but later I made two more. I'm quite satisfied with the result :)

Pic from our last game with the fences displayed. Some huron warriors stormed a settlers farm:

And finally a latrine, made from an excess of "balsa" wood and cardboard (settlers moan about going out on cold winter nights...)
