Overlord:

Abingdon War Games Club annual show is taking place this Sunday (yes Mothers Day).

Abingdon is just South of Oxford.  I believe there are about 30 traders, a bring an buy, demonstration and participation games galore.

Just got home from a flying visit. It's a nice smaller sized show, quite a few traders without too much repetition. I managed to get everything I wanted (admittedly is was a shorter than normal list!).

Great show, arrived early to drop figures off for Trevor Halsal's ancients demo game and stayed for the day .. Played a racing/demolishion derby game on hexes, I was hairy Henderson driving a log on wheels in the morning and then was invited into a SYW battle in the afternoon playing ' honours of war ' from osprey by Keith Flint, with I beleive th author :) using RSM 25mm figures on 6x4 ..  Really enjoyed them :)

Sold some bits on the bring n buy, bought 8 brushes, 6 paints, micro dice, MDF dice trays and 'en garde' .... Then black powder 'rebellion' on the way out...

A much needed day off :)
