Those turned out pretty cool.  That idea of bowing the tile in the opposite direction to compensate for any shrinkage is a good one.  I've been using higher end spray adhesive for attaching things to tiles, but a simple paint brush raising the middle might save me some money.

I also went and read your country road post.  Those turned out great as well.
