New Company B train cars
« on: November 27, 2008, 09:55:01 PM »
The turreted Gun car and HMG Box car are now ready and shipping.

Current new cars in progress are the 40 and 8 Box car, and a coach passenger car.  Of course these are both civilian models...which means that there will need to be a "non armored" engine to pull them (big hint)

More to come soon...

Company B trains/cars are S-scale.

The HLBPS train is smaller; can't be mixed, but looks okay on separate parts of the table. (Search on this forum -- someone had pix of a game using both trains.)

Dodge -- I don't have the link, nor do I remember what it was shown under. Maybe search for HLBPS, Company B, "train". It may have been part of shots from a convention. Sorry.

You can probably mix our train cars with the HLBSC one. Well, the flatcar, etc.  We use both in games though so that each side has a different train.  Though, we have a few variants on our game table, since Bruce chopped off the tender from one model and created a short version of the engine.

The game pics with both trains are here:
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?action=gallery;cat=44

I have some early casts of the engine that I was going to muck around with for alternate armored versions.  Also, since I have an unarmored engine in progress (think a real version of Thomas the Tank Engine)  you could always armor that up.

I have just finished the civilian 40 and 8 box car tonight.  It has a removable door on either side.  We also now have a horse car, that is going to casting, and I just started work on the passenger/coach car.

If the mood strikes the only other model to do would be the twin turret gun car.

Sigh...plus I still need to finish up the Holt Tractor conversion parts for our Sutton, and finish of the Austin Putilov master models...
