PLA use of the Humvee

I'm currently building up my PLA forces in 6mm, 15mm and 28mm. There's plenty of vehicles to be had in 6mm, but very little in 15mm and 28mm (Empress's new ZBD-2000 aside). I was hoping to just use Humvee's to bolster my PLA forces and was just looking to see if anyone has any info on how the PLA use them. I know the Chinese make their own versions and that they are in widespread use across all arms of the Chinese armed forces, but I haven't yet seen any examples of armed vehicles. As far as I can tell they use them as utility vehicles and all the pictures I've seen show them unarmed. I have read that PLA special forces use them but haven't yet seen pictures of how they deck them out. Anyone have any experience with the PLA?

Excellent, should be fairly easy to convert. Looks like they have tricked out the Airborne Humvee like British Special Forces; a pintle mounted on top and a gunner seat on the passenger side. Thanks for this info.

Interestingly it appears they've got a Type 87 Grenade Launcher on the passengers gunner mount as well!

Yep, Chinese cloned vehicle should be pretty easy to kit-bash.
