The Dynamic Dunderheads are being let out of their sikey unit tomorrow for the last tonking match of the year. We're doing two scenarios from
'One Hour Wargames'. Game one, the Saxons have to cross the river and stop the Pagan hordes from finding their Abbot's treasure hidden in the ruins of the desecrated Monastery. Their local knowledge should help then here as they know a couple of fording points the Norsemen don't. I'm about to slap some paint on one of them Airfix resin churches that's been kicking about since last year...
it might make a decent ruined Monastrey, Crimbo hangover permitting.
Game two will be a straight fight with both sides wanting the high ground, should be on a winner there, not even the Dunderheads, will be able to make a bollix of that one! Then it's off to the Occifer's Mess for a gallon, post mortem, and lay plans for the new year's campaigning season.
